British Cup

The British Cup is used for the NIR analysis of liquid egg. The sample is placed in the middle of the cup and is covered with a microscope slide. The stainless steel body is of hygienic design.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Dairy.

Cheese Cup

The Cheese Cup accessory set is the ideal sampling and sample presentation tool for hard cheese. The Cheese Cup is equipped with a drill knife similar to a cheese trier/tester to obtain a representative sample from a cheese block. The included stamp board and cutting wire provide multiple cheese samples across the sampled cheese cylinder for the NIR analysis.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Dairy.

Closed Cup

The Closed Cup is used for the sample presentation of powders and granulated samples of small particle size. It allows easy filling and uniform, compact presentation of the sample. The Closed Cup is used for milk powder, flour, sugar, starch and other products.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Flour; Sugar; Olive; Dairy.

Liquid Cell Assy Top Window

The Closed Cup is used for the sample presentation of powders and granulated samples of small particle size. It allows easy filling and uniform, compact presentation of the sample. The Closed Cup is used for milk powder, flour, sugar, starch and other products.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Flour; Sugar; Olive; Dairy.

Cup Top Window

The Glass Cup Top Window is a special petri dish that is optimised for near-infrared light. This cup is ideal to present free flowing powder samples e.g. flour, egg powder, starch, sugar and others to a SpectraAlyzer Top Window instrument. The magnetic coupled ring can be utilised to rotate the cup automatically by the instrument, which allows to retrieve an averaged analysis of different portion of the sample.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Flour; Olive.

Italian Cup

The Italian Cup is a disposable cup for sample presentation and is your choice for the analysis of any viscous sample that prevents you from reusing cups for sanitary reasons. Introduced mainly to analyse human and animal faeces it is possible to use this cup for many other applications that do not allow you to use standard cups. The samples are analysed in reflexion. The sample is applied to the centre of the cup and then covered with an microscope slide. By placing the slide onto the sample, any sample surplus overflows into the surrounding groove. Thus, a homogeneous and bubble free sample is prepared to guarantee optimal analysis results.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food.

Open Cup

The Open Cup is for the presentation of pasty samples e.g. butter, cut (homogenized) meat, margarine or processed cheese.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Dairy; Meat.

Open Cup Deep

The Open Cup Deep is for the sample presentation of olive paste or other sticky pasty material. The sample is best filled into the cup using the spatula item number 10301.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Olive.

Reference Cup Optical

The Reference Cup Optical is not for sample presentation but for instrument qualification. It can be used to monitor the performance of your SpectraAlyzer 2.0 by taking the reflectance spectrum of the 1 OD gray standard, which is placed into this cup.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Grain; Flour; Dairy; Olive; Sugar; Feed; Meat; Chemical.

Reference Standard Top Window

Reference standard cup for SpectraAlyzer 2.0 (TW) Top Window models. Applied for routine performance check of the spectroscopic system.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Flour; Olive; Chemical.

Rotating Closed Cup

The Rotating Closed Cup is the solution to analyse course granular samples, e.g. grains, corn or pallets. This cup is an accessory of the Rotating Cup Drawer, which allows to increase the area that is analysed by means of the near-infrared reflectance spectrum.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Grain; Sugar; Feed; Chemical.

Rotating Closed Cup Deep

The Rotating Closed Cup Deep allows not only to analyse course granular samples, moreover, this cup gives the option to measure fluffy materials, e.g. cotton or wool due to the increased sample thickness. This cup is an accessory of the Rotating Cup Drawer, which allows to increase the area that is analysed by means of the near-infrared reflectance spectrum.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Sugar; Feed; Chemical.

Rotating Open Cup Deep Meat

The Rotating Open Cup Deep Meat is utilsed to analyse course sticky materials, e.g. minced meat. This cup is an accessory of the Rotating Cup Drawer, which allows to increase the area that is analysed by means of the near-infrared reflectance spectrum. The increased deepness allows a larger sample thickness.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Meat.

Rotating Open Cup Flat Meat

The Rotating Open Cup Flat Meat is utilsed to analyse course sticky materials, e.g. minced meat. This cup is an accessory of the Rotating Cup Drawer, which allows to increase the area that is analysed by means of the near-infrared reflectance spectrum.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Meat.

Slide Cup

The Slide Cup is your choice for any viscous sample when you need to empathise on easy cleaning and/or hygiene. The samples are analysed in transflection with a fixed path length of 800 µm. The reflecting surface is made of gold protected by a long-living anti-abrasion coating. The sample is applied to the reflector and then covered with an microscope slide. By placing the slide onto the reflector, any sample surplus overflows into a surrounding groove. Thus, a homogeneous and bubble free sample is prepared to guarantee optimal NIR analysis results.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Olive.

Viscous Cup

The Viscous Cup is your choice for any viscous sample such as condensed milk, honey, syrup, fillings for sweets, etc. The samples are analysed in transflection with an adjustable and highly reproducible path length. The sample is applied directly to the reflector, which has a passivated gold coated surface. The Viscous Cup is made of anodised aluminium. Possible applications include moisture in honey, fat in milk, alcoholic fillings in sweets, active ingredients in cosmetics, Brix and polarisation in sugar cane. The sample is applied directly to the reflector. By closing the cup with the glass cover any sample surplus is displaced into a surrounding spill. Thus, a homogeneous and bubble-free sample is prepared to guarantee optimal NIR analysis results.

Used with the SpectraAlyzer: Food; Dairy; Sugar; Feed.
