The Asynt CondenSyn Waterless Air Condenser is a unique glass condenser, handmade individually in the UK, that requires no cooling water for operation. By using a unique glass forming technique we have been able to manufacture a high surface area air condenser which is robust and effective.
• Performance of the CondenSyn is equivalent to a Leibig type condenser being used with tap water.
• No issues with water leakage, and potential flooding
• By not using water the environmental impact is reduced as is the costs of water usage.
• A tidy setup, clear visibility of reflux and easy to clean
• Suitable for use under vacuum
• Each CondenSyn is individually handmade in the UK
• CondenSyn is designed to integrate into multiple systems and applications, with fittings to suit.
• CondenSyn is considerably less costly than other available systems, but don’t let that put you off!
• The unique Asynt CondenSyn concept is protected by European Community Registered Designs
The high performance CondenSyn MINI air condenser is optimised for small scale synthetic chemical reactions performed in 5, 10, and 25 mL flasks. Individually handmade in the UK, CondenSyn MINI requires no cooling water for operation.

The CondenSyn Distillation Adapter allows chemists to use the CondenSyn waterless air condenser in a vertical orientation for distillation purposes.
Developed by the University of East Anglia in partnership with Asynt, this new application represents an extension to the capabilities and potential water savings delivered by the CondenSyn in laboratories worldwide.
We are pleased to announce a NEW adapter kit that enables the CondenSyn air condenser to be used as an effective exhaust trap for laboratory vacuum pumps.
It is important to us to make your laboratory environment as safe as possible and by using this new Post-Pump CondenSyn Adapter Kit you can reduce the risk of unnecessary solvent vapours escaping into your lab:
Rotary evaporators typically utilise an integral water or dry ice condenser which, when combined with a well-controlled automatic vacuum pump, provides an effective trap for most solvent vapours however some solvent will always escape and make it’s way into the exhaust of your vacuum pump. This new kit solves the problem without using any cooling water!
