We offer a range of platinum and platinum alloy torch shields for ICP-MS machines. Platinum torch shields have low chemical reactivity at elevated temperatures and are inert in the presence of argon, regardless of temperature. This guarantees a stream of high-purity argon gas is delivered through the RF coil and Tesla unit while providing a sound mechanical barrier between the torch and the bonnet.
