When dealing with samples that are too dark to be tested using Method A, Method B, which utilizes a thin-film approach, is recommended.
Method C is specifically designed for samples that have a significant tendency to vaporize at the aniline point.
For samples that are prone to substantial vaporization at the aniline point, especially when only limited amounts of the sample are available, Method D is particularly suitable.
