In April 1992, Jacques le Roux, established Cape United Scientific CC, with the help of core personnel skilled at serving the Scientific and Laboratory industry throughout Southern Africa. In 1998 the Company changed it name to United Scientific Pty Ltd.

Over the years, the United Scientific staff complement has grown beyond 50 people, with branches across South Africa, the DRC and Botswana.
