EQM-402 Ball Mixer Mill

The EQM-402 Mill is an invaluable tool for sample preparation, offering rapid grinding, mixing, and homogenization capabilities for small sample quantities. It has been specifically designed to handle complex, semi-hard, and fragile samples weighing up to 15 grams. This versatile mill enables the simultaneous preparation of two samples, effectively reducing their initial size from 0.8 to 1.5 mm to less than 10µ in a short period, typically 1 to 4 minutes.

Thanks to its exceptional efficiency and time-saving features, the EQM-402 Mill is particularly well-suited for the final reduction stage in sample preparation by fusion. Utilizing grain sizes 10µ significantly expedites the sample's homogenization process within the flux, resulting in noticeable reductions in fusion times. It is also highly recommended to prepare and mix samples with binding agents for subsequent X-ray fluorescence analysis.
